Concrete Foam
Providing a highly workable concrete option, readymix foam concrete is ideal for reinstatement of openings in damaged pavements and roads, as well as for filling-in disused petrol, oil, effluent and water tanks.
As it is made up of 50% entrained air, Axtell Mixtrucks’ foam concrete presents a significantly lower risk of shrinkage or cracking during settlement than with more traditional concrete, and our C2 and C4 mixes are flexible enough to suit all needs.
Both our C2 and C4 mixes are available as either highly air-entrained mortar (HAM) or highly air-entrained concrete (HAC), the former containing no coarse aggregate and the latter containing 4 to 20mm stone.
Low Risk Of Shrinkage Or Cracking During Settlement
The malleable nature of Axtell Roadfill foam concrete means that it is still in a plastic workable state for up to three hours after being laid, and can be surfaced often less than 24 hours later.
With no levelling or compaction required, labour is significantly reduced, while the compressive strength of the material remains high, allowing it to withstand heavy loads.
All Axtell foam concrete meets standards laid out by the Roads and Street Works Act, 1991. So for high quality readymix foam concrete delivered to your door, on time and at competitive prices, get in touch with Axtell Mixtrucks today.
